Skye was leaning against one of the trees that were on the school grounds. It was sorta cloudy not overly though and the wind was blowing slightly.
Skye wore a pair of jeans, 3 inch heeled boots, and a black tank top with a skull on the front. Her brown hair was currently hanging to her shoulders and curled and she wore a pair of sunglasses even though they weren't really necessary but the gloomy glare the sun gave off through the clouds was annoying.
She had her ipod going and it was playing American Idiot by Green Day. As she listened to the song her brown eyes surveyed the surroundings around her as if looking for some action or trouble to cause. She was bored out of her mind.

It was late afternoon, after school, and Hayden had absolutely nothing to do. he was wearing a black t-shirt and black skinny jeans, his hair windblown and crazy looking. He slammed his locker shut and slid his backpack over his shoulder, sticking the headphones of his iPod in his ears, blasting "The Ultimate Showdown" by Lemon Demon, which was a strange but oddly satisfying song. His bright green eyes swept the surroundings of the outside of school. He had to squint against the sun after being inside all day, the natural light seeming unnatural to him. Once he got over the glare, he looked over his surroundings again. He saw a few people he knew at the parking lot, getting in their cars, and he saw another girl, one he'd never seen before, sitting alone. She was pretty- why not go talk to her? He made his way over slowly, lowering the volume of the music. He saw she was listening to music, too. "Hey," he said to her, loud enough so he'd know she heard.

Skye turned and looked at him. Taking her earphones out she turned off her ipod and slipped it into her pocket, "Hi." She stated simply, "Who are you?" She crossed her arms across her chest. She wasn't used to people coming up and talking to her. Most avoided her as much as possible. She pushed her brown hair from her face and slid her sunglasses to the top of her head, revealing her brown eyes. Which she squinted against the suddenly no long dulled glare. How she wished the sun would just dissappear.

Hayden took a seat on the bench next to her and grinned a most convincing grin. He didn't usually smile, but he practiced sometimes in case he ever needed to. It was a weird thing of his. One of the many, that is. "I'm Chase Penheart," he introduced himself, his eyes locked with hers now that her sunglasses were off her eyes. "I just thought you might like a little company. Y'know, you looked lonely." Even to him, her gaze was a little intimidating. She looked like she could pack a ounch. He definitely did not want to mess with her in the future, he could tell. "Your name is Skye, right? Skye Cain. I've seen you around before. I think we acutally have... Biology together." Wow. This was hard. No wonder he avoided people as often as possible. This convorsation was totally out of character for him.

"I'm a loner what do you expect me to be crowded by a bunch of people?" She gave a laugh, "No ones going to try and be nice to me any time soon not with my reputation." She looked at him as she leaned comfortable against the tree, "Yes my name is Skye. I don't know anyone in any of my classes I stick to myself." She flicked a strand of hair from her face with her finger and said, "So what do you want besides trying to make a conversation with a rioting bitch like me?"
