She gave a snort of laughter, "You haven't seen me angry yet." Looking at him she shrugged, "To me you don't have the whole stuck up air around you that screams I'm a teachers pet and do no wrong." Stepping in a puddle of water she frowned and said, "Stupid rain." Skye put her hands in her pocket and raised an eyebrow at him, "But honestly there is no fucking way your a teachers pet."

Gabriel smiled. "Well that's god to know. Most people think that just because i have perfect grades that i live with the teachers." he shuddered, or pretended to. "So what got you into making all this mischeif? Childhood memories or what?." he said turning his head to see her. Suddenly there was a small break in the clouds, and a single strand of sunlight shot through to touch the ground. Gabriel stopped dead in his tracks and walked around it and then smiled at Skye as if to be playing a game. Suddenly there were more, and all over the pavement were more small strands of light, creating little circles on the ground, which Gabriel, while waiting for her response, carefully, and gracefully, moved around them all, still seeming to be playing a game. "And this may be a stupid question, but im going to ask it anyway." He said with another smirk. He loved asking dumb questions, the only thing better then a dumb question was a dumb answer, which always seemed to humor him. "Do you have a boyfriend or something? I'm taking a guess at no, if that's not too bold, but you don't seem like the kind of girl to let anyone to close to you." he said, still avoiding the streams of light, almost appearing to be dancing.

"I've been a rebellious riot of mischief since I was little. I'm the oddball of the family." Skye said as she watched him avoid the sunlight with a raised eyebrow. "Ask away. I'm pretty sure I can answer it." She shoved her hands in her back pockets and looked at him and gave a small laugh, "No I don't have a boyfriend. Never had. Most guys that even try to get closer to me than I want end up with something broken. I'm not the type that likes people getting to close to me or into my business or personal life. Although you have managed to get more out of me than most can in a few years. Be thankful I haven't broken any of your bones yet. What little respect you've earned from me takes most people years to earn. My parents don't get even an ounce close of the respect I'm giving you. Which is odd. Normally it takes a good long while to earn my trust or respect."

He smiled. "Well then I guess I'll take pride in that factor." he said with a smile. When the clouds covered the sky and the beams of light dissapeared, he continued to walk normally, still however gracefully. He walked infront of her and turned lightly on his heels to look at her straight in the eyes. "How do you feel about the fact that I'm getting so close so fast?" he asked with another smile. They were heading towards the woods outside the school now. He could ehar the chiping of the birds and the rustling of leaves as they walked into the woods. "Not to sound.. too... flirty? if that's the right word?" he asked with his signature smirk spread across his face.

"Look if you make a bold move and I don't like it, you'll know. Because my temper will fly off the handle and I'll try to knock your ass out or break your jaw." Skye said as she crossed her arm, "I try to go with the flow let things go as they will but I put my foot down when I need to and act on my instincts. Which usually go in the order of loose temper, attack, break something, laugh and walk away....That probably just made me sound like a psycho, but I don't care."

He laughed, continueing to walk into the forest. "You don't seem like a Phsyco to me. If you've met half the people I have then you would think you were normal. Which you are, just a trouble maker." he said with another smirk. He took a step back then, flinching. He hadn't realized it before, but her scent had gotten stronger, like somehow he was becoming unable to ignore it. There was something special about this girl. He however put his senses back in check and kept walking. "So have you ever thought about finding someone special? Or is that one of the 'oh too girlie' things?" he asked. his eyes still locked with hers. "I'm sorry if im getting too personal, but you facinate me... You're not like the other girls in Forks." he said with another friendly smile.

"Like I said I let things go as they will. Its not that its to girly I'm just waiting for the right guy. If I fall into a relationship then I fall into one but if I feel like things aren't working I won't hesitate to climb out of it and continue with my life." Skye said as she gave a small shrug, "I'm one of the smarter females. Most relationships that go on today are horrible and the girl is scared to leave to fear not finding anyone else or that the guy won't let her go."

"I was always like that too, I never wanted to get into a relationship that wouldn't last, so I've never been in one." he said with a light smile. If he wanted to find someone, he deffinitly could have, being a vampire gives you a lot of spare time to do anything you would want to in your human life in half the time. He had just never found a person he really had a connection enough to be with. No other "Cold-ones" had ever appealed to him, and the humans all just seemed obbsessive over looks and attitude. Hell, how many times had he walked into Forks high school and been asked out or told he was good looking? It got super boring after a while. "I am however ready to find somone, I've been alone in this world longer then you think." he said, mentally laughing at his own joke. "I'm sure she'll come soon, very soon." he said again with a sigh. "I would go on about what my perfect girl would be, but in my opinion, you're never going to know what your soul mate is going to be like untill you've been with them long enough to find the connection you both have. If that makes sense to you." he said with a smile.

"Makes perfect sense. I'm not a ditz, I understand things better than most give me credit for." She said as she stepped over a log and continued walking down the small path, "I surprised you actually agree most guys only care about how big the girls chest is and if she's a blond or not. As well as wonder how long it'll take them to get laid."

He laughed. Things had certainly changed since the 50's. "Well I've never been one to go for looks, who ever i have a connection with is who I'll have a connection with." He said with a small smile and then turned to her. "Of course, good looks are just a bonus." he said with a smile. He lightly sprang over the log and back on to his feet without hardly making a sound. "So are you waiting for the right guy to come to you? Or for you to come to the right guy?." he said, grinning at his question.

"Possibly more the second option than the first." She said with a small laugh, "Why is it even your concern?" She asked with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. She frowned when she walked through a cobweb, "UGH, Great. I hate cobwebs." Sh pulled the nasty web like substance off of her and tried to get it off her hand but gave up and moved over to a tree and used it to get it off her hand.

He laughed as he followed her to the tree and carefully plucked the cobweb off her with ease. His hand lightly brushing hers. "Maybe I'm interested in you." he said with a flirty smirk. "Or maybe I'm just trying to keep a conversation going. I'll let your mind decide what one." he said again with a grin and a light chuckle. He smilednd wiped his hands on his jeans, ridding himself of the cobwebs and continued to walk into the forest. Turning lightly on his heels, nodding his head to one side, signaling for her to keep walking with him.

"Has anyone ever told you, that you can be annoying sometimes?" She asked as she crossed her arms and continued walking with him. Flipping her hair from her face she sighed as it began drizzling, "Oh joy, its raining."

He laughed. "Only among my family. No one else ever gets close enough to really say anything like that about me." he said still smileing. He let hsi hands fall back as water drops fell onto his open palms. "A little rain never hurt anyone, besides if you want to leave, I know these woods better then anyone here, we could be out of here in a few seconds." he said laughing lightly. He took a deep breath through his nose. Mountain Lion. "It's time to leave." he said sternly, grabbing her arm and pulling her east. "Don't take this to offense, I would tell you if i could, but i can't, so just trust me." he said still walking. He took another deep breath through his nose. one...two....three..... four. There were four of them now, closing in on them. He knew they weren't going for him, but for 'her', he had to get her out. He could feel her tugging against him, hitting him. Of ourse he felt nothign against his granite skin. Suddenly they came to an opening, and they were surrounded by four murderouse mountain lions. "Stay behind me." he said sternly and with a voice full of authority. His lips curled back over his teeth and a loud warped growl formed in his chest and escaped through his lips.

"Well now don't I feel special, she said sarcastically...You forget I come from Sunny California, Rain is rare and annoying to me." She said with a laugh, "Why, Whats wrong?" She asked, "Afraid to ruin your hair or something?" She looked at him as he grabbed her arm in a vice grip, "Hey, whats the deal, Let go of me." Following him as he pulled on her arm she hit his shoulder, "Seriously let go of me before I break your fucking...." She trailed off as she seen the four animals and her pushed her behind him, "...neck." She added silently. She heard him growl and knew it didn't come from the mountain lions, "You're a fucking appetizer to them, They aren't going to back off because you growl back. Seriously we're in their territory they won't hessitate to attack." Her eyes darted from the side of his face to the four animals.
